Volunteer Usher

As the welcoming face of Cathedral Concerts to each and every concert attendee, our dedicated volunteer ushers are absolutely vital to the overall success and smooth operation of our events. We are actively seeking individuals who possess an air of professionalism and can effectively interact with a culturally aware public to join our usher ranks.

Usher assignments can encompass a variety of tasks, including greeting guests warmly, taking tickets efficiently, seating guests with care, or selling merchandise, among other essential positions determined by the concert's specific needs. Concerts are generally two hours in length, offering an engaging experience for all attendees. Doors open for seating one hour prior to the scheduled concert time, allowing guests to settle in comfortably. Ushers are expected to report 30 minutes prior to doors opening for an informative meeting before each concert begins. Additionally, ushers are also asked to assist the dedicated staff in straightening up the beautiful Cathedral or Our Lady's Chapel following the concert's conclusion.
